About Us

The Shalom Retreat Centre was founded with a heartfelt vision to create a space where individuals, families, and groups could come to find peace, rest, and spiritual rejuvenation. Located amidst the beautiful Yelagiri Hills, the retreat centre was designed and developed in 1992 by our visionary founder, Mr. Jeyapaul. His dream was to offer a sanctuary away from the noise and stress of everyday life, a place where people could reconnect with themselves and with God. Continuing his mission of service, Mr. Jeyapaul also established the Community House in Vellore. Recognizing the struggles of patients and their families who travel from different parts of India for medical care, the Community House was built to provide them with a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. Both the Shalom Retreat Centre and the Community House stand as living testaments to his compassion, vision, and unwavering commitment to touching lives with love and hope.
